The Naples Art Institute has on display Childhood Classics: 100 Years of Children’s Book Illustration. The exhibition, located at the Naples Art Institute in the heart of downtown Naples, features 120 illustrations and 100 original illustrations by the illustrators themselves.

    Seven years ago, Fort Myers husband and wife duo, Anthony and Tyna Swingler, opened the dark “antique modern design” store to create a wine bar-tasting experience while you shop. Located off 2541 Thompson Street in Fort Myers in the Gardner’s Park district, sits what looks to be a small white building filled with luscious greenery. In fact, it’s a “not so small” space at Remedies Parlor, with merchandise filling all three rooms and an outdoor space.

Mally Khorasantchi was born just after World War II ended in Dusseldorf, Germany.

    Florida panthers have been known for looking for prey deep into the luscious woods. For now, there’s a new 600-pound “rebar” Florida Panther sitting in the green sculpture garden at Big Arts Sanibel. Shortly after Hurricane Ian tore the Sanibel Causeway bridge in half, many were left devasted on the island, including Big Arts Sanibel gallery director Wilson McCray, who decided to pitch in and help clean up the left-over scraps.
