Key points Considerable progress has been made with quality improvement and implementation science methods to integrate Age-Friendly Health Systems into clinical care and measure 4Ms adherence. Characteristics of older adults receiving 4Ms care is not well understood, especially in the hospital where care documentation and patient outcomes are impacted by the environment.
