WASHINGTON (7News) — A D.C. native is set to take the stage for the Children’s Theatre Company’s Original Production of Disney’s Frozen in Minneapolis this month. Gillian Jackson Han, who said she grew up on both borders of D.C. and Maryland, was cast as Elsa from the hit 2013 film Frozen in the original production. Jackson Han said that growing up as an older sibling with a younger sister helped her step boldly into the role of Elsa, who plays the older sister to Anna.

TIMONIUM, Md. (7News) — Lisa Ann Walter, known for her role in ABC’s #1 Emmy-nominated show "Abbott Elementary" is returning to her home state to perform a comedy show. The 2-night return will at Magoobys Joke House in Timonium, Maryland on Friday April 4 and Saturday April 5. DMV native Lisa Ann Walter, who plays the tough Philly-born, second-grade teacher Melissa Schemennti on Abbott Elementary, joined 7News.
