MANSFIELD — One more week. That is all it will be until a 2025 Richland County Softball Power Poll champion is crowned. As we enter the final week of the regular season, we also enter tournament play, so there is still a lot on the line. Two teams have already clinched league championships, with two more having a chance to grab theirs this week. And, sectional championships are on the line for a majority of teams.

OLIVESBURG — After three years away, the Crestview Cougars are back on the mountain top. With an 11-1 win over New London on Friday night, the Cougars clinched at least a share of the Firelands Conference championship for the first time since the 2021 season, which was the final year of four straight league championships. As a reward, they also swept the special MBC honors handed out by the league. He began intense rounds of leukemia treatments that wiped out his energy and made him lose his hair. So, Plymouth Local Schools' students and teachers wanted to make sure he wasn't alone.

I mean, seriously, how many people who played high school sports or graduated from a Richland County school can say they reached the pinnacle? How many can say they played professional sports?
