WARREN, NJ — After a rain delay early in the game, the Columbia softball team fell behind and Watchung Hills came away with a 6-1 victory in the NJSIAA North 2, Group 4 championship game on Friday afternoon. It was the second consecutive sectional crown for Watchung Hills. Junior first baseman Eva Clevenger went 2-for-3 with the only run batted in for Columbia (20-7), which scored in the sixth inning.
