A Crowley man died Thursday in an Acadia Parish crash, according to Louisiana State Police. Police said the crash claimed the life of 60-year-old Roderick Boullion of Crowley. Just after noon Thursday, troopers began investigating a two-vehicle crash on Louisiana Highway 13 near its intersection with Airport Road in Acadia Parish. The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis, driven by Boullion was traveling north on Highway 13.

A Sulphur High School special education teacher accused of stabbing a 6-year-old now faces eight charges of attempted murder, the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office said. Patrick Greene, 37, now faces eight counts of attempted degree murder, along with his previous charges of aggravated assault, domestic abuse battery with child endangerment and resisting an officer. Green allegedly stabbed his stepson, Korbin Price, during a domestic dispute on Sunday.

A man was arrested after allegedly threatening a Pine Prairie Catholic priest and threatening to shoot everyone at the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lafayette offices. Kenneth Vicknair, 73, was charged with simple assault in connection with the threats to the priest and has terrorizing charges pending against him in Lafayette Parish.
