Khayri Thomas, 27, of Lawtell was charged with misdemeanor theft and malfeasance in office, which is a felony, according to the St. Landry Parish Sheriffs office. On May 9, the Seriff’s Office was notified of a theft that occurred at 865 Mulberry Road in Opelousas.
