    MONROE, N.C. — In an incident at Planet Fitness in Monroe, a mother was arrested for alleged child abuse after leaving her young children unattended in a car. Tiffany Nicole Greene, 32, was taken into custody around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Greene had left her two children, aged 4 and 5 months, alone in an idling vehicle with the window down while she tanned inside the fitness center for approximately 30 minutes. A passerby noticed the unattended children and called 911.
