Private equity-backed consolidator Attivo has appointed Andrew Clennell as the group’s chief finance officer (CFO). Clennell takes over from Jon Sturgess, the previous CFO, who left the business last month after a year and eight months. He joins from the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), where he was CFO of the post-trade division following its acquisition of the Quantile Group, a fintech provider of portfolio, margin and capital optimisation services for financial services.

Brunning, described as a ‘well-respected and highly regarded member of the advice community’, died on 30 March. He leaves behind his wife Tabitha and family. Brunning, or Bruno - an affectionate nickname given to him by colleagues, joined Amber River East Anglia as managing director in March 2023, before becoming CEO.
