Update: The board of Urban Logistics (SHED) is on the brink of accepting a £674m takeover bid from LondonMetric Propery (LMP).
The board of SHED said yesterday afternoon that it is ‘minded to recommend’ a LondonMetric cash and share bid that values the entire real estate investment trust (Reit) at £674m.
The news caused SHED’s shares to soar 8% on Monday, just days after the FTSE 100 member LondonMetric made a preliminary approach for an undisclosed sum.

UK and European stocks have rallied sharply after a massive rebound on Wall Street overnight following the Trump administration announcing a 90-day pause to the tariffs slapped on US trading partners last week.
The FTSE 100 rose 4.6%, or 353 points, to 8,033 at around 8.50am.

Japan’s Topix was down 3.9%, while the Hang Seng fell 1.6% and Korea’s Kospi dipped 1.9% at 12:50pm Singapore time.
Stocks in China, which faces the biggest tariff at 104%, were down less sharply, with the Hang Seng China Enterprises index slipping 1.3%, but the mainland CSI 300 benchmark rose 0.3%.
