NC State has landed a commitment from Wake Forest freshman linebacker Bailey Benson. Benson was a consensus three-star recruit in the 2025 class and enrolled at Wake Forest in January but decided to enter the transfer portal after spring practice. NC State offered Benson late in the recruiting process during his prep year. He will have four years of eligibility remaining. Inside Pack Sports will have more shortly from Benson on his decision so stay tuned!
