    NC State has landed a commitment from Wyoming 6-foot-10 center Scottie Ebube out of the transfer portal. Ebube spent the 2024-2025 season at Wyoming where he averaged 5.0 points and 2.7 rebounds in 10.4 minutes per game. Prior to Wyoming he spent three years at Southern Illinois.     NC State commitment Paul Mbiya has decided to decommit and reopen his recruitment, according to On3. The 6-foot-11, 250-pounder previously committed to NC State over Oregon.  This move was expected given the Pack recently added Wyoming post Scottie Ebube.     Welp, that makes this feel doomed, I'm ngl. The literal only thing that could be the reason, as far as I can tell, would be that someone else is willing to pay him significantly more money. If that's the case, then I don't know how we're ever supposed to retain our best players consistently.
