    KAPIT (April 18): A three-day water safety programme was conducted for students and teachers of five schools in Baleh to impart basic life-saving knowledge and skills. The programme was jointly organised by the Sarawak Rivers Board (SRB) and Kapit Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba).     KAPIT (April 9): Deputy Minister in Sarawak Premier’s Department (Native Customs and Laws) Datuk Jefferson Jamit Unyat handed out Minor Rural Project (MRP) allocations amounting to RM355,000 to 28 organisations in his Bukit Goram constituency. The recipients included parent-teacher associations (PTAs), as well as local youth and sports clubs.
