Darren McCall, 34, from Watford, is taking on the daunting 26-mile challenge to pay tribute to Spencer, who also turned out for Stevenage FC. Spencer died from cancer, he first noticed pain in his leg that was wrongly assumed to be a stress fracture caused by playing football.

The playground by Mursley Sports Pavilion has been renovated to become more inclusive and accessible to children of all abilities. Police officers are concerned for Alex's welfareA police appeal has been launched to help locate a missing man last seen in the Aylesbury area. Yesterday, Thames Valley Police asked for the public’s help locating Alex who was reported as missing on Monday. Thames Valley Police confirmed he has links to High Wycombe, Marlow, and Kent, as well as Aylesbury.

It feels like the people who direct football matches don't actually like football. As if the constant cut aways to the touchline and slow motion replays weren't bad enough

Not only does this feel like a hugely Americanised idea, whenever I’ve seen them done in NFL, NBA etc they always provoke the most basic of insights and act as pure filler. Players and managers aren’t going to tell you anything of interest whilst the game’s on. It’s pointless.
