The Minnesota Timberwolves were crushed by the Oklahoma City Thunder 124-94 on Wednesday night. OKC outscored Minnesota 26-9 in the first quarter and the game was sideways the rest of the way. The Wolves shot 41.2% from the field, 35.3% from three-point range, and 80% from the free throw line while the Thunder shot 52.3% overall while knocking down 40% from deep, and 85.7% from the line. Julius Randle paced the Pack with 24 points. Anthony Edwards added 19 points and six rebounds.

The Minnesota Twins dropped their series rubber match 5-0 to the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday afternoon. Pablo Lopez struggled giving up four runs on seven hits over five innings while being tagged with the loss. Cole Sands and Jorge Alcala each tossed a shutout inning in relief while Kody Funderburk gave up a run in an inning out of the bullpen. Minnesota recorded six hits and a walk while leaving seven runners on base in the loss.

On Wednesday, May 28 the Fargo Force announced the return of Alumni Jimmy Mullin as the team’s new Associate Head Coach. He returns to Fargo with multiple years of coaching that includes two seasons with the U.S. National Development Team and two seasons at Merrimack College. He was an Assistant Coach at both stops. Mullin played 52 games for the Force during the 2010-11 season where he led the team in scoring with 60 points on 23 goals and 37 assists.

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Lynx remain undefeated following an 82-77 win over the Seattle Storm at the Target Center. The Lynx raced out to a 26-11 through one quarter and led the rest of the way. Courtney Williams poured in 23 points, five rebounds, and four assists in the victory. Napheesa Collier finished with 16 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and five steals. Alanna Smith chipped in 16 points followed by Kayla McBride’s 15 points.

The Minnesota Twins defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 4-2 on Tuesday night. Joe Ryan only gave up one run over six innings with five strikeouts en route to earning the victory. Louie Varland gave up one run in an inning out of the bullpen with Griffin Jax tossing a scoreless inning striking out the side and Jhoan Duran threw a scoreless ninth inning earning his ninth save of the season. Kody Clemens hit a solo home run with Brooks Lee and Ty France each also picking up an RBI.
