Republicans in District 25 chose Terry Goerger to serve out the remainder of Schreiber-Beck’s term in the North Dakota legislature. Schreiber-Beck, a longtime Wahpeton resident and legendary state aviator, died at the age of 70 back in May.

On Saturday, June 14, just before 7:45 p.m., Fargo police were called to the 600 block of 10th Street North for an injury crash involving a vehicle whose occupants fled the scene. Upon arrival, police spoke to witnesses on scene who provided descriptions of a man and woman who were seen leaving the scene.

Medora, N.D. – The Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library is more than halfway through construction, as the facility remains on track to open its doors near Medora next year. The grand opening is set for July 4th 2026. “It’s really starting to look like a building that’s taking shape,” Matt Briney, the library’s Chief Marketing Officer told The Flag’s Steve Hallstrom.
