Others have attempted to muse philosophically in the open press. It usually results in a communications train wreck. The reader is not happy. The author doesn’t really say what they wanted to say. An editor confronts a barren comments section. Everyone remains unsatisfied. But, sometimes the frustration fair boils over.

The psyche of Aussies and Yanks is similar yet different. A difference that is well reflected in the sorts of people who run for president and the way that they commonly present themselves. Or it has been up until Clinton v Trump.

However, the recent proposal by the Labor government to introduce misinformation laws has some people a little concerned. I have to say right at the outset that I do understand that concern.

It’s time to put everything in perspective. When drilling, or attempting to drill 27 kilometres of tunnels, it should come as no surprise that the geology is not necessarily homogenous (homogeneous if you talk proper) for the entire length of the tunnels.
