Clans entrenched in their particular Metro Manila strongholds are the Cayetanos, Binays, Tiangcos, Gatchalians, Belmontes, Zamoras, and the Olivarezes. There are 11 mayors seeking reelection in Metro Manila, which is comprised of 16 cities and one municipality.
