Hey, they also fixed the "any meager contact near the groin is an automatic ejection" malarkey! It can now be called a Flagrant 1 I am definitely appreciative that the sport's higher-ups listen to and acknowledge stuff that is fixable like this, block/charge, reviews, etc

This is an awesome step in the right direction, BUT Still going to get an onslaught of review demands over the difference between 23.1 vs 23.2 seconds remaining, because those are still free timeouts and not subject to challenge. But at least out-of-bounds is now challenge only

Coach’s challenges — at any point in the game — are coming to college basketball. And, more importantly, “Officials cannot conduct video review on out-of-bounds calls unless through a coach's challenge.” The final two minutes of a game will no longer take 20 minutes. In theory.

I think I love this. I almost always enjoy eccentric court designs (yes, including the Oregon woods), and this is nice and simple with the clean hardwood inside the 3P lines. I guess we’ll see how it looks on TV though
