While traveling through Alabama on my way to Virginia, my wife and I passed through (I think) Montgomery where they had a Veterans Memorial Parkway. The corners of each street had a banner hanging from the electric poles commemorating a veteran from that town. Idea. What if we pushed to make a Lufkin's Veterans Parkway on First Street?

AbstractA study has been made on the effects of fast neutron irradiation on time delay occurring in diffused GaAs laser diodes operating at 77° K and 300° K. Measurements were performed at 300° K prior to irradiation and thence after successive exposure to neutron irradiation to a maximum of about 1.2 x 10^14 nvt (>10 KeV). At 77° K, measurements were limited to a pre-irradiation characterization and a characterization after the final irradiation.

AbstractThe major purpose of the present experiment was to demonstrate the incentive and discriminative stimulus (SD) properties of a change in magnitude of reinforcement. This was accomplished in a differential instrumental conditioning setting by correlating carious shifts in magnitude of reinforcement (and, therefore, incentive) on the discriminative stimulus trial (trial SD) with magnitude of reward on the next trial (trials SD+1).
