I’m developing a Figma plugin that pastes frames onto the canvas using the Plugin API. The frames are structured in JSON format and include nested auto-layout frames with text layers inside them. These text layers are set to “hug” content with specified max-height and max-width properties. When pasting the frames, all elements are translated and positioned correctly.

Hi !in the counterAxisSpacing property, documented here : figma.com Applicable only on auto-layout frames with layoutWrap set to "WRAP". Determines the distance between wrapped tracks. The value must be positive. I see no reference to auto, which is something that can be set in Figma and has an effect similar to justify-content: space-between in css/flexAm i missing something, or is it not implemented in the API? Thanks

Is there a method for setting/assigning a range of text to a variable? I noticed that even the setRangeBoundVariable(start, end, type, variableId) doesn’t support “color” for the type. Something like:figma.currentPage.selection[0].setRangeBoundVariable(0, 5, 'color', 'VariableID:313:879')Which would then apply that variable to text characters 0-5.

We got gradientStops and boundVariables for them, but I can’t see any way to set bound variables for it. setBoundVariable() is for bindable fields, setBoundVariableForPaint() is for solid paints. Hi,I’m trying to figure out a way to use the Plugin API to get various internal dimensions of a text node—specifically, the width of each line of text, and the (x, y) position of each line of text, or even better yet, the (x, y) position of any arbitrary character within a text node. Is this possible? See the attached image for clarification as to what I am trying to determine programatically.
