Photo: Getty Images The only thing worse than wasting those last bits of food stuck in the curves of your pots and pans is having to scrub the gunk off with a sponge. Anyone who’s stuck their bare hands in a pot full of claggy oatmeal water knows what I mean: A sponge often simply isn’t up to the task. Instead of washing, it ends up soaking up the liquid of foods and redistributes it elsewhere. Plus it’s not very good at scrubbing burnt bits off, either.
