VfB Stuttgart’s failed appeal to overturn Nick Woltemade’s red card last weekend has forced the club to demand that the rules of VAR be changed, according to Kicker. Woltemade was sent off for what the referee saw as a second yellow card offense last weekend during Stuttgart’s 1-2 loss at home to Werder Bremen. The Swabians believe that Woltemade made very minimal contact with the Bremen player, and therefore, the second yellow was an error in their eyes.
