PADUCAH, Texas (KVII) — Paducah is getting $22 million to make improvements to the city's water system,According to the Texas Water Development Board, Paducah will use the money to reduce water loss by replacing approximately 65,500 feet of water lines, including the main transmission line transporting water from its wells to its water treatment facility.

CLOVIS, New Mexico (KVII) — An infant in Curry County was diagnosed with measles. The New Mexico Department of Health confirmed its the first case in Curry County. The infant is too young to receive the MMR vaccine. There are a total of 71 cases in New Mexico. “Seeing measles in a new county underscores the need to remain vigilant and get vaccinated,” said Dr. Miranda Durham, NMDOH Chief Medical Officer. “It also serves as a reminder the measles outbreak in New Mexico isn’t over.

VEGA, Texas — DPS seized more than 40 lbs. of meth, and $10,000 in cash, during traffic stop on I-40 in Oldham County. Around 11:15 a.m. Monday, a state trooper stopped a 2018 Nissan traveling east on I-40 near Vega for a traffic violation. During the stop, the trooper discovered multiple plastic-wrapped packages of methamphetamine in a large plastic container, and cash wrapped in a rubber-band and placed in a baggie.
