Sears is the Tide's leading scorer again this season, averaging 19.2 points per game. Alabama guard Labaron Philon was named to the All-SEC freshman team. Philon played in all 31 games for the Crimson Tide in the regular season. He has averaged 10.9 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game this season.

Jax State took home a total of six Conference USA postseason awards on Monday, highlighted by Ray Harper being named the Gene Bartow Conference USA Coach of the Year. Harper takes home the Gene Bartow Conference USA Coach of the Year award after leading the Gamecocks to their sixth season with 20+ wins in Division I program history, five of which have come under Harper. Jax State's Jaron Pierre Jr. was also named the Conference USA Player of the Year.

Auburn's Johni Broome was named Southeastern Conference Player of the Year on Monday. Broome is the third-ever played in program history to be honored as SEC Player of the Year along with Charles Barkley and Chris Porter. Broome was also named to the All-SEC First Team for the second season in a row. He currently ranks among the Top 5 in career blocks at Auburn. Broome averaged 18.6 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.4 blocks over the course of this season, leading Auburn in each category.
