The station is owned by the Sinclair Broadcast Group and is associated with WABM, a MyNetworkTV affiliate on channel 68, and WTTO, a CW affiliate on channel 21, both licensed in Birmingham. Additionally, Sinclair operates WDBB, a station licensed to Bessemer on channel 17, which acts as a full satellite for WTTO through a time brokerage agreement with Cunningham Broadcasting, a partner company of Sinclair. Although technically owned by Cunningham, Sinclair holds the majority of the stock due to it being owned by the family of the late founder, Julian Smith.
