JACK Grealish was allegedly slapped in the face by a Manchester United fan at Old Trafford. The Man City star, 29, was allegedly assaulted near the tunnel as he made his way off the pitch following the Manchester derby on Sunday. A 20-year-old man has since been charged with assault. He will appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court in July.

The victim also a teenage boy, was assaulted near a Co-op store in Eastbourne, East Sussex, at around 7.40pm on Saturday. He was rushed to hospital with a stab wound, but his injuries are not life-threatening. A 13-year-old boy was subsequently arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery and on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

FANS of a popular restaurant chain are 'devastated' after it announced it will close its venues after eight years. Manchester-based vegan street food chain, Herbivorous, confirmed it will be closing all three of its sites this month in an emotional social media post. Herbivorous was founded by Robyn Marsh and Damian Myles in 2016 and has since become a staple of the city's plant-based food scene, with additional venues in Sheffield and York.
