(WRGB) — Lavender, the dog at the center of a high-profile cruelty investigation, recently received a heartwarming visit from the Schenectady Police Department, Schenectady Animal Control, and the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society’s (MHHS) Humane Law Enforcement team- the groups instrumental in her rescue and the subsequent arrest related to her abandonment. Lavender, who is recovering from severe wounds and infections, has been under the care of MHHS since her rescue in late March.

    Amsterdam, NY (WRGB) — A 70-year-old woman was arrested in Montgomery County this week for felony warrants in another state. According to police, Diane Crial, 70, of Amsterdam, was arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged with Fugitive From Justice- Out of State CrimeCrial was reportedly taken into custody for having outstanding Felony warrants out of the State of New Jersey for Identity Theft. She was arraigned in the Glen Town Court and remanded to the Montgomery County Jail pending extradition.
