Residents of the Rural City of Murray Bridge are set to receive new bins in the next few weeks under its contract with Solo Resource Recovery. The bin rollout was announced earlier in the year, standardising all kerbside bins across the Council area to ensure they meet correct size and colour standards. Residents will not face additional costs as the replacement bins are included in Council's contract with Solo Resource Recovery.

From the archives of the River Murray Advocate... The party of parliamentarians who made the river trip paid a visit of inspection to the above factory on Wednesday. They were met by the chairman of directors, Mr Hawkins, directors Mr Pearce and Mr Robert Mitchell, manager of the dairy department Mr EH Frommen and assistant manager Mr AJ Cooke.
