Interstate 10 through the Coachella Valley is rough going for commuters and those headed to Weekend 2 of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival with brisk winds kicking up dust and traffic accidents closing or blocking lanes for much of the day. Two accidents occurred 10 minutes apart shortly before and after 2 p.m., snarling traffic through the mid-valley.

Edison will bury more than 150 miles of power lines in Altadena and Malibu in the wake of January's deadly and devastating Eaton and Palisades fires in Southern California.
