    A Michigan State University gymnast and members of the MSU gymnastics coaching staff earned three Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) regional honors Wednesday afternoon. Senior Gabrielle Stephen was named the 2025 WCGA Region 1 Gymnast of the Year. Head coach Mike Rowe earned Central Region Coach of the Year, while associate head coach Nicole Jones and assistant coach Devin Wright were both recognized as Regional Assistant Coaches of the Year.

"We worked a lot on from the shoulders up, because we had the talent, we had the consistency, and we got to the regional final last year and something just went wrong and we couldn’t put our finger on it," MSU gymnastics head coach Mike Rowe said.
