LOUISVILLE – Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs) of Kentucky recently recognized 18 men and women in the capitol rotunda for their invaluable work with child victims of abuse. As part of the Legendary Partners ceremony, Ashley Taylor and Elbert Riley were honored for their work to bridge the gap from hope to healing for the children they have served. Taylor, Riley and the other nominees were celebrated among fellow colleagues, elected officials, partners and supporters at the event.
Preliminary hearing set for man accused of drug trafficking

CORBIN — A man arrested last week as part of a Laurel County Drug Interdiction Task Force investigation is set for a preliminary hearing next Monday. He's the perfect size for someone wanting a dog on the smaller side and he is great with other dogs and gets along well with kids!The Knox-Whitley Animal Shelter is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays.
