However, this weekend, the riverfront park has been taken over by professionals. The Association of Pickleball Players' third annual Vlasic Classic runs from Thursday until Sunday at Sawyer Point Park, bringing together some of the world's best pickleball pros in the Queen City.

Harper Tweet has gone to Mighty Mussels games since she was one. Always accompanied by her mother, Paloma, the now-4-year-old has made Hammond Stadium her home, especially the berm. Harper loves rolling around in the grass, watching the Friday night fireworks, and enjoying Hammond's sweet treats. She says ice cream is one of her favorite parts of the games. Paloma quickly recognized her daughter's passion for the Mighty Mussels, which sparked an idea.

Growing up in eastern Indiana, Ethan West got into the family business right away. With his older brother always riding horses, Ethan followed in his hoof steps. “I always had a love for riding horses," West said. "The first time I ever got on one, I loved to do this for a career. So as a young teenager, West began training horses. As he grew up, riding was all he wanted to do. Ethan got a scholarship to Indiana University, but did not finish school because he knew his future was on the track.
