Police have sought to reassure the public after a woman was stabbed to death near a shopping centre. Paramedics and officers were called to a property on Other Road, close to the Kingfisher retail complex, around 9.30am on Monday, where they found the fatally injured 44-year-old. She was pronounced dead at the scene. A 46-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in police custody.
