Just a few days after the last disqualification case before the National Final, another piece of news was released today from the Croatian broadcaster HRT. Natalie Balmix, known to Eurovision fans as she had competed in Dora last year, has been disqualified. Her song “Život Ide Dalje” has been accepted during the open call for Dora submissions. Seven members of the committee approved her entry.

We’re closing 2024 with breaking news, this time from Serbia. According to RTS – Serbian national broadcaster, Buč Kesidi performed “Tužne Ljubavi” in May 2024 in Umag, Croatia during the Sea Star festival. Earlier this year, the winner of the Montenegrin national final, NeonoeN, was disqualified after winning the selection because their song “Clickbait” had been performed live in a slightly different arrangement at another festival.

After three days filled with artistic spirit and energetic musical performances, Albania chose their representative for Eurovision 2025 in Basel, Switzerland. An intense voting sequence was introduced for the first time in Festivali i Këngës and the winner was Shkodra Elektronike with the song “Zjerm”. On the third night, the Festival continued to honor the empowering messages and stories.

After yesterday’s first semi final where 15 artists performed and showcased their talent, today we got to enjoy another spectacular night. The remaining 15 songs were performed live on stage and the lineup of 30 songs competing for the ticket to Basel is now complete. With the closing of the second night of Fest 63, the audience in the hall and millions of TV viewers of RTSH and all over the world are ready to choose their favorites for the Grand Final on Sunday, December 22nd.
