R├şkis├║tvarpi├░ (R├ÜV) announced the songs for S├Ângvakeppnin today. The competition will compose of two semi-finals on 8 February and 15 February of five songs each, and all songs in the semi-finals will be performed in the Icelandic language. Songs that qualify to the final on 22 February will perform using their preferred language for Eurovision. The shows will be hosted by Gu├░r├║n D├şs Emilsd├│ttir, Benedikt Valsson, Fannar Sveinsson.

Today, the first semifinal of Lithuania’s Eurovision selection, Eurovizija.LT was broadcast, previously recorded from the LRT studios in Vilnius. The program was hosted by GabrielÄ— Martirosian, Nombeko AugustÄ—, and Rimvydas ÄŚerniauskas. Each of theÂ five semifinals will feature nine acts and only the top two from each semifinal as decided by 50/50 jury and televote will advance to the live final show on 15 February.

Supernova is back! LTV revealed not only snippets from the 20 semi-finalists for Latvia’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, but also additional details about the program itself. The program is scheduled to first air the semi-final on 1 February and the final on 8 February.
