HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A bicyclist was struck and killed by a vehicle on Main Street in Hartford on Monday evening, according to police. The victim was identified as Nicholas Thompson, 42, of Hartford, police said. At around 7:31 p.m., Hartford Police officers responded to the 2000 block of Main Street and found a bicyclist unresponsive in the roadway, authorities said. Officers began life-saving measures until EMS arrived.

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Hartford Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred in the area of 1046 Capitol Avenue on Friday afternoon. According to police, at approximately 3:22 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital for reports of a gunshot victim arriving for treatment. The victim, a man in his 20s, received treatment and is listed in stable condition. The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions are investigating the incident.

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Hartford Police are investigating a shooting homicide in the area of 84 Vine Street in Hartford on Tuesday night. Police said that officers responded to a call of shots fired just before 7 p.m. Responding officers found a man in his 40s unresponsive in the roadway. EMS were called to the scene and transported the man to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
