    Andrew Morrison uses his numerous aliases to explore a sound he’s coined “tape throb”: deep, propulsive lo-fi house bangers beamed in from outer space. Readers may be familiar with his main projects The Cyclist and Buz Ludzha, but his most recent outlet, Indopan, has mined psychedelic, jazz-leaning terrain to great effect. Following 2023’s ‘Yupana‘, Morrison delivers the project’s latest, ‘In Opulence’, via 100% Silk, “a 70-minute suite of jazzy kinetics, lysergic breaks, and dusted swing”.

Berkeley-based producer Benjy Toczynski has put out a handful of digital tracks under the Patioworld moniker, and now he’s teaming up with Silk for the project’s debut physical release.
