St. X basketball coach Kevin Klein told me today that sophomore Brandon Dayes (6.1 ppg, 2.4 rpg) will not return to the basketball program next year in order to pursue a pro soccer career. Dayes is the son of U of L women's soccer coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes.
