    High school baseball coaches from the Sixth, Seventh and Eighth regions have announced their selections of the top players from the 2025 season in their respective districts and regions. Bullitt Central senior Jordan Powell was named Sixth Region Player of the Year. He batted .392 with 16 doubles, 30 RBIs and 14 stolen bases. On the mound, the Eastern Kentucky University commit was 6-3 with one save and a 1.20 ERA, striking out 73 in 46 ⅔ innings.

    The Seventh and Eighth Region softball coaches have announced their postseason awards for the 2025 season. Assumption High School senior Lauren Satterly has been named Seventh Region Player of the Year. A Western Kentucky University signee, Satterly is batting .458 with 11 home runs, 15 doubles and 45 RBIs. As a pitcher, Satterly is 13-1 with a 3.83 ERA, striking out 90 in 89 ⅔ innings.
