Mike Szabo won 526 games and two state titles at Trinity before taking a leave of absence for health issues in January 2024Szabo returns to Fort Worth Country Day, where he won a conference championship in 2001Mike Szabo, who led the Trinity High School basketball program to a pair of state championships, has a new coaching job in Texas. Fort Worth Country Day announced on its website last month that Szabo has been named its new boys basketball coach. Szabo could not be reached for comment.

PRP 9, Spencer County 2, final. No. 6 Panthers (28-6) advance to face No. 4 McCracken County (31-8) in Friday's semifinals. Will be a rematch of last year's state championship game, which the Panthers won 4-1 for their seventh title.
