    PEORIA (25News Now) - The body of a man found in a Penske truck Friday in Peoria’s North Valley has been identified as a Peoria man. Edward DeArcos, 73, was found deceased in the truck in a parking lot in the 1900 block of Northeast Jefferson Avenue. Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood estimated that he had been in the truck for an extended amount of time, estimated to be more than a month. There was no forensic evidence of injury, trauma, or foul play.

    PEORIA (25News Now) - The boil order for Peorians living on Moss Avenue between MacArthur Highway and Western Avenue and those north of that area has been lifted Wednesday morning. Illinois American Water originally said on Tuesday that a water main break necessitated emergency repairs. Normal water use may now be resumed. Samples tested showed that the water meets all federal and state regulatory standards for drinking water.

Illinois American Water said a water main break necessitates emergency repairs starting around 9:30 a.m.Repairs are expected to take 6-8 hours to complete and those affected are under a boil order. Any water used for drinking or cooking should be brought to a rolling boil for five minutes.

    CHARLESTON, W.Va . (25News Now) - A Fairbury woman was sentenced in federal court Thursday for marriage fraud and perjury. Kalee Ann Huff, 28, was sentenced to five years of federal probation, including one year on home detention. According to court documents and statements made in court, on Sept. 3, 2021, Huff was living in Greenbrier County, West Virginia, when she married a foreign national, identified as Aakash Prakash Makwana.
