Here are the official final vote totals for candidates in Edwardsville, Glen Carbon, Worden, Livingston, District 7, and more communities within The Intelligencer's coverage area. The biggest races were to serve as members of the Edwardsville District 7 school board. There were two races on the ballot. The first race saw seven candidates competing for three spots in Edwardsville Township.

Edwardsville was recognized again as a Tree City USA during the April 15 city council meeting. "Last year we planted 138 trees that cost about $31,000," said Marc Miller, the city's horticulturist. "We did tree maintenance on 20 trees for about $14,000 and we removed 46 trees for about $61,000."Edwardsville has been a recipient of the Tree City USA award more than 20 times, Miller said. Miller also said the city is off to a better start in 2025.
