Nobody was back on defense. The Pirates and the Tigers, with Wednesday’s game postponed due to inclement weather, had a wide-open layup. And they kicked it out to the 3-point line. Or, better yet, sailed the ball out of bounds. The slam dunk Pittsburgh and Detroit had available to them involved a potential Paul Skenes-Tarik Skubal pitching matchup in one of the two games of Thursday’s doubleheader. We’re not getting it because … well, it’s hard to fathom, really.

Good morning from PPG Paints Arena, where the Penguins will introduce new head coach Dan Muse momentarily. https://t.co/XE1SNv0mJ1

Between the signed balls and his own donation, Paul Skenes helped us raise over $10K (of $71K total) for the @937theFan Five-Alarm Marathon, plus appearing on-air & generating immeasurable awareness. Just awesome stuff from an incredibly mature, aware and caring athlete.

Kaleb Johnson was born Aug. 14, 2003. A little more than two years later, Aaron Rodgers made his NFL debut. Here’s Rodgers handing off to Johnson yesterday: https://t.co/7sdjNadPUe
