Five days after hosting the Spartan Invite, Richfield track and field welcomed Bloomington Kennedy and Columbia Heights to Spartan Stadium April 29 for the Tri-Metro Conference triangular meet. Richfield boys and girls swept the standings, with the girls outscoring Columbia Heights 102-49 with Kennedy third with 35 points. Richfield beat out Kennedy 91-50 on the boys side, with Columbia Heights tallying 46 points.

St. Louis Park senior Landon Miller was named to the Mr. Minnesota Golf watchlist last season as he continues to impress. Most recently, he tied for fifth place with a 1-under par 71 at the season’s third Metro West Conference meet at Island View Golf Club in Waconia April 26. After posting a 2-over 38 on the front nine, he had three birdies on the back nine. Miller opened with a pair of bogeys before back-to-back birdies, including the 158-yard Par 3 Hole 4.
