I listen to a lot of @NewYorker stories on the app, but invariably stop after one sentence of the “automated voice.” Happened just now with @rosalyster’s latest. The opening, “Last July, I got married,” from a bloodless HAL stopped me cold. I expect better from the New Yorker.
