Following the 2021 legalization of the sale of recreational marijuana in New York, Gotham Buds was one of the first recreational dispensaries to open in Manhattan. City College of New York announced a class on housing organizing and policy in New York City for next semester. However, different from regular CCNY classes open only to its students, the class will also be open to housing leaders and organizers from outside the college as non-degree students, as funds are available. The class, which is externally funded, will be taught in the college’s community change studies program.
