The Barnard Student Government Association is working alongside Barnard Dining Services to minimize the visibility of caloric information in dining hall displays in response to concerns from students, especially those with disordered eating behaviors. Barnard dining halls are required to display the calorie count of food on their menus, according to New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
