    Air Astana has launched direct flights from Atyrau International Airport (GUW) in Western Kazakhstan to Tbilisi International Airport (TBS) in Georgia. The inaugural flight took off on May 27, 2025. The new service will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. With a flight time of just under two hours, Air Astana said the route is expected to be popular with both leisure tourists and business travelers.

    Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport (FCO) has opened its first-ever luxury hotel for dogs, Dog Relais. Located inside FCO Airport’s terminal, beside the airport’s long-term car park building, Dog Relais offers boarding and daycare, as well as pampering, for dogs when their humans need to travel. The first dog hotel facility in any Italian airport, Dog Relais’ facilities are equipped with panel climate control, automatic water dispensers, and preferred background music for dogs.

    Customers eligible for Air France’s SkyPriority can expect a more spacious check-in area with better technology at Terminal 2E of Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG). The French flag carrier said the area has been redesigned to provide a faster experience for customers, streamlining their check-in process.
