ROFF — The 2025 Roff Softball Camp is scheduled for June 5-6 at the Lady Tiger softball field. The camp, open to students entering grades kindergarten to sixth grade, will run from 9 a.m. to noon daily. Cost is $40 per camper. Campers may register at 8:30 a.m. on the first day of camp (June 5). The Cougar Soccer Camp is scheduled for Friday, June 6 at the Ada High School soccer field. The camp is open to students entering grades kindergarten through eighth grade.

The No. 1 offense looked sharp. The No. 1 defense swarmed to the ball. Most importantly, coaches had the opportunity to evaluate a number of young players who performed in live action during Ada’s spring football game Thursday night inside the Dunham Indoor Facility. The scrimmage was originally supposed to be played on the Craig McBroom Football Complex practice field but about 10 minutes before it kicked off, lightning was detected and players and fans were moved inside.

The Ada and Byng High School tennis teams both landed a pair of All-State players when the Oklahoma Coaches Association released its rosters earlier this week. Ada No. 1 Doubles partners Jessi Bolin and Zoey Brown were named to the girls East All-State team. That Lady Cougar team capped their senior tennis seasons by winning a Class 4A state championship in No. 1 Doubles. Bolin and Brown finished with an overall record of 33-6.

The Ada area was well-represented when the Oklahoma Slow-Pitch Softball Coaches Association released its 2025 All-State teams. Seven local players are OSSCA selections.
