He is batting .113 in 22 games with the Guardians this year. Normally, losing a player batting a meager .113 to injury should not be difficult for a team to absorb. But Hedges never was on a Major League roster for his bat.

Bieber is recovering from Tommy John surgery performed in April of last year by Texas Rangers team physician Dr. Keith Meister.
