If the NBA playoff courts were a school playground, the Cavaliers would be the kid hesitant to leave his classroom out of fear that the school’s meanest bully would steal his lunch money. As crushing defeats go, the Cavaliers, wiped out in the Eastern Conference semifinals in five games for the second straight year, feel like a grape run over by a semi trailer truck carrying a full load. The Cavaliers led the Pacers by 19 points in the second quarter in a game they had to win to stay alive May 13, but the Pacers turned the game around late in the second quarter and in the third to win, 114-105, and advance to the Eastern Conference finals for the second straight year.
