    For the third straight month, the number of arrivals in Canada (both visitors and returning Canadians) has declined, compared with last year, reports Statistics Canada. By air and over land, 4.5 million people entered Canada, which is 15.2 percent fewer than in April 2024. When the data is broken down according to who is coming from where, the numbers show that the trend of international travel at the expense of U.S. travel seen over the past few months is continuing.
